First complete (prototype) set of Cards Against Nerdfighteria. There are a lot of changes I’d like to make, but this seemed like a good stopping point for now. 75 question cards, 200 answer cards. Mostly nerdfighter related, though there are quite a few tangential ones.

This looks like fun!

I assume that it’s “against Nerdfighteria” in the same way that Nerdfighters fight nerds.

Awesome! Can there be a version that you can print online? I want it!!

It’s already up and printable! Check the link.

there’s a lot of unspoken pressure to keep liking the things you used to like and to keep dressing the way you’ve always dressed and to never question what you believe in and basically “be yourself” has slowly morphed into “be what everyone knows you as” but trust me when i say if you just give it up and simply make decisions and take actions based purely on what would make you happy, you’ll gain a very comforting sense of self peace

Things that aren’t sources for art/design/writing/creative work:

  • "Pinterest"
  • "9gag"
  • "Imgur"
  • "Reddit"
  • "Tumblr"
  • "Deviantart"
  • "Not mine"

Human beings make art and post it on websites, the websites don’t make the art. Unless you are linking to a specific person or account on one of these websites, I am about 99.99% sure it’s not an accurate source.

Good afternoon! I’m not entirely sure how much I can contribute, but I thought I’d share some nuggets of wisdom that I’ve picked up following getting a BA in English.

I was accepted to graduate school eleven days before graduation. That was an interesting…

It’s always hard to think you’re a good person because it’s a whole hell of a lot easier to be a good person than it is to actually feel like one.

edit: Ricardo Montalban, the actor who originally portrayed Khan, is Mexican, yes. The character, however, is Asian (specifically Sikh). I apologize for not making the actor/character difference clear, and I do agree it was my bad for putting Khan in this post, since POC are not interchangeable. I wanted to show how a TV show in the 60’s cast a POC for a POC, while a Hollywood blockbuster made in 2013 cast a white actor for a POC. Apologies for not explaining the Khan issue further.

also, it’s a possibility that honey lemon may actually be latina like her voice actress, but the fact that she’s gone from an asian woman with some white (but easily alterable) characteristics like her hair and eyes to what so far appears to be a white woman is something that should be discussed.
